Veteran producer C.M Woolf co-founded the Rank organisation in the early 30's with 'King Arthur' s' flour milling fortune and they systematically monopolised the British film industry.
Their debut film, Albert Lewin's Pandora and the Flying Dutchman with James Mason and Ava Gardner was followed up by the legendary hit, The African Queen.
Under Jonathan as producer, Romulus is back with the stars, the passion, the talented director and, with the luck that comes from John and James' original ambition, great things are expected for the future.

Several figures outside of artistic modernism were influenced by artistic ideas, for example John Maynard Keynes was friends with Woolf and other writers of the Bloomsbury group.
On the eve of World War I, a growing tension and unease with the social order began to break through - seen in the Russian Revolution of 1905, the increasing agitation of "radical" parties, and an increasing number of works which either radically simplified or rejected previous practice.

One of the main effects of internal focalization is to attract attention to the mind of the reflector-character and away from the narrator and the process of narratorial mediation.
The term was appropriated by James Joyce in Stephen Hero (1905) to denote a moment of intense insight, usually occasioned by the perception of a more or less ordinary object or event.

 Boston Review
Fewer and fewer people will be able to contend with the masterworks of literature or ideas.
Joyce, Woolf, James, and the rest will go unread, and the civilizing energies of their prose will circulate aimlessly between closed covers.
Whatever exchange of ideas there may have been in our society will wither away, except of course among the echelons of the professional academic.
