Jamey: I agree some great shows have gone down in VFW’s but the sad truth is that people vandalize and sometimes the promoters can't cover the costs and in the long run the scene gets hurt.
Jamey: I think the progression on "Perseverance" was inevitable, we had played those songs for so long and had gotten really tight, plus I had been singing for 4 years straight and I felt like my voice was stronger than ever.
Jamey: There are so many, we actually get asked this a lot so a couple of guys have put some stuff up in the journal on our website, I'd say some of the funniest memories would be from Agnostic Front tour in Europe, I have never laughed so hard in my life.

I've only seen old live videos from Jamey's days in the band that suffer from abominable sound quality, so it's hard to gauge where they were coming from at that point in time, but this 7" is fucking excellent regardless.
The Jasta 7" from what I remember must have had a pretty large pressing since I saw it in stores in the New England area by the truckload and I still see it from time to time as well.
Jasta 14...saw 'em at the middle east in boston with die 116 and shift.

The band was founded in November 1994 by original members Jamey Jasta, Dave Russo, Larry Dwyer and Chris Beattie.
The band still maintain tight connections to the hardcore and metalcore communities, evidenced by the lineup for the band's 10 year anniversary show toads place (25 and 26 November 2005 in New Haven), which includes Neglect, One 4 One, Irate, and reunions by All Out War and Skarhead.
Singer Jamey Jasta is the host of the MTV2 television program "Headbangers Ball", and runs Stillborn Records, home of Subzero, Full Blown Chaos, and Jasta's own side project with Skarhead's Lord Ezec called Icepick.

Jasta's vocals seem to be fully recharged with the aggression and angst that were more than prevalent on "Satisfaction = the Death of Desire." This album is a must for anyone that is a fan of hardcore and is the best release of the past 2 months.
Jamey Jasta's conviction is it's clearest ever on this disc, as he forcefully twists his hatred into hope for conquering his demons.
Add this on top of a skull crushing rhythm section and the result is an album which is easily one of the most unrepentantly heavy metal releases of the new millennium.
