		Stewart lead for most of the final but talented 18 year old NSW surfer Jessica Hickson patiently selected her waves and it worked for her when she took one of the larger sets of the morning, executed some impressive and powerful bottom turns and scored an outstanding nine point ride.
		Jan Juc surfer Jeff Sweeny took an emphatic win in the over 40's to complete an outstanding day for the locals - Sweeny was never going to lose today.
		Solid swells for a surfer who is certainly one of the all time great free surfers at Bells Beach having ridden and conquered the break on the very biggest days over the past 20 years and today's win was a reward to his affiliation to the wave.

		Tuesday January 13th (Jan Juc Victoria): Sunshine Coast surfer Leigh Sedley has won the Jetty Surf Pro Junior at Jan Juc, Victoria, after narrowly defeating the Gold Coasts Paul Fisher in the opening ASP Australasian junior event of the 2004 season.
		The final was an exceptionally close battle from the outset, Sedley opening with an excellent 7.83 and then Gold Coast´s Paul Fisher taking the lead with a 5.5 followed by an identical top scoring ride of 7.83.
		The junior circuit continues in Victoria with the Balin Pro junior commencing on Thursday.
