Tuesday January 13th (JanJucVictoria): Sunshine Coast surfer Leigh Sedley has won the Jetty Surf Pro Junior at JanJuc, Victoria, after narrowly defeating the Gold Coasts Paul Fisher in the opening ASP Australasian junior event of the 2004 season.
The final was an exceptionally close battle from the outset, Sedley opening with an excellent 7.83 and then Gold Coast´s Paul Fisher taking the lead with a 5.5 followed by an identical top scoring ride of 7.83.
The junior circuit continues in Victoria with the Balin Pro junior commencing on Thursday.

Talented young Sydney surfers Perth Standlick from Bondi (pictured above) and Laura Enever from Narrabeen, both 15 years of age, won their under-16 divisions of the opening event of this seasons Rip Curl GromSearch in clean 1m surf at JanJuc Beach.
Throughout the event they were standouts and they maintained their form into the final day to take comprehensive wins.

I don't know why PSV got him, he's clearly not good enough playing for a top-team in the Dutch eredivisie, the past 5 years I went to every home match of Lierse (his previous club) and he rarely played an astonishing game.
