Jan was superb at free-kicks and penalties in his time as well and the kop was often awaiting the net to burst at times under the pressure of his shots.
Jan was instrumental in the FA Cup success of 1986 over Everton when he turned the game on its head by setting up the first goal and then spreading the ball at every perceivable angle to open the game up completely and eventually for the second and third goals which completed the double.

While Jan was out of work he kept his finger on the pulse doing television work for Danish television and also helping out with training at Nuneaton until the call came to rejoin the Harriers as manager for the second time.
Although Jans second term in charge was at first promising by the start of the 04-05 season things were going badly wrong and with the team rooted at the bottom of the League, only one goal scored away from home, a lengthening injury list and no money to spend Jan left again.

Jan's impact was immediate and he took Swansea City to Wembley in his first full season where they narrowly missed promotion to the Second Division via the play-offs courtesy of a last minute goal.

Just have to say, Jan Molby was one of my heroes when he played for us, one of the most underated p;ayers in the world, bascially, that was cos of his size.
I think Digger once said that Jan was one of the best passers of the ball in the world, and he was, his touch, passing and vision was amazing, and he stil has it.
Nobody can get near Molby, he is so good, he was always one of my faves, just used to stand in the centre circle and dictate the whole game.

But we do try to play football and Jan's profile has created a lot of interest in the club that we wouldn't have had if he hadn't been here.
