The things that ender does in the game are more like instinctive reactions, his own thoughts then anything he actually told the computer to do, but its not like he is watching it in the way you watch the game demo before you stick your quarters in.
The queen connected to ender in the most basic, simplest way, into his subconsious, which is why he didnt know(consiously) about it, and why she was able to understand him better then he understood himself, and take that and connect it into the game/her bridge to him/Jane.
We know that the "unwritten" part of the game had something to do with the hivequeen in the sense that the giants corpse hill and the castle were found on the planet in the end of Enders Game.

Ender by Orson Scott Card Book Reviews
Ender's Game is of a rare breed of books that have the power to completly captivate you, no matter how many times you read it.
The whole Saga of Ender, and Bean because I have grown partial to Bean and I refer to the Shadow books as the Bean Saga, is a look into the mind of a genius, and glimpse at what it is like to be superior in mind, and the burdens that comes with.
As was Ender's Shadow and Children of the Mind, and Xenocide and Speaker for the Dead.

I loved the entire Ender Quartet, even if it was hard going for many readers to shift from "Ender's Game" to "Speaker for the Dead." Card has produced a philosophical masterpiece of science fiction in this series, and one that is only matched by his "Pastwatch Redemption" in its scale and importance in his writings.
One of the problems facing Ender and his friends is that Starways Congress, the governing body that rules the Hundred Worlds and all the colonies of mankind throughout the galaxy, has sent a fleet of ships to Lusitania armed with the Little Doctor, a weapon that can reduce whole planets to spacedust.
Ender and his friends have to find a way of making the descolada non-lethal, so that it does not kill other species, but can still allow the pequeninos to exist as a race.

I'm working on spreading around Ender's Game in Australia, and the ACT territory seems to be trying to get a few sets in for the public schools.
I know Enders Game is taught in the military (at least a required reading), and in several schools around the nation but as for specifics I'm sorry.
As for Ender's Game in schools, it is not required in most Michigan schools but it is definitly suggested.

Enders Game is a lot of mind games, in fact, without it, people would not be come so devoted to it.
The computer game is also a nessesity, it gives Ender a sense of who he is, resorceful, guilty, ext.
It is important to see how they affect ender, but they themselves are not quite as important.

Instead of having "shards" of each game on any given server, Butterfly's software would distribute the games across a network of server farms.
Butterfly claims several advantages for its approach: online gaming should allow a nearly limitless number of players; it provides a "Daemon controller" for more advanced AI options; it allows the running of multiple, concurrent games; and it can run on any platform or computing device.
The general approach of grid-based gaming is to allow online gaming to be platform agnostic; in theory, an online game could feature Xbox players competing against PC gamers, PlayStation 3 gamers, and Macintosh gamers.
