John Hampden Randolph (1813-1883), Louisiana planter, was born March 24, 1813, in Lunenburg County, Virginia, the fourth of six children of Peter and Sallie Randolph.
Peter Randolph was a judge in the Virginia Court of Appeals.
There is a small amount of material (1883-1889) relating to Emily Jane Randolph's management and sale of Nottoway Plantation after John Randolph's death, and there are a few letters to her from her nephew Frank Richardson, dealing mostly with family history.

A former model, brunette leading lady Jane Randolph made her first film appearance in Warner Bros.' Manpower (1941) playing a bit as a hat check girl.
Randolph was immediately signed to a contract by RKO Radio Pictures, where she spent the next few years in the studio's "B"-picture mill.
Her best role under the RKO banner was Alice Moore, the young lady terrorized during a nocturnal swim by the malevolent Simone Simon in Val Lewton's Cat People (1942) She reprised this role in the 1944 follow-up Curse of the Cat People, expertly handling the film's complex, literate dialogue sequences.

Jane, in her late teens, a grown young lady wrote to her brother Bennett, March II, 1857, to acquaint him with family and local news.

The Randolph's and Bollings do have a long history though and General Isham Randolph was the brother of Mary Bolling Fleming's brother-in-law, Col. Richard Randolph.
The Randolphs, Bollings and Flemings lived within close proximity of each other so there is every possiblity that Mary could have had a close relationship with Gen. Isham Randolph - or any of his sons.
Dorothea and Jane look to be legitimate children of Isham Randolph and his wife Jane Rogers, and therefore 1/2 sisters of Benjamin.
