		Early in the show, Phoebe’s songs about her dead mother were funny, but the rest of the episode relied too much on cuteness or sappiness.
		Wheeler’s Janice was always a funny presence in her Fran Drescher-esque manner, and Friends had good enough sense to use her sparingly; she only showed up a few times over the years, and that kept the character from becoming stale.
