Frederick Motz(Maryland) granting Sun Microsystems Inc.'s motion for preliminary injunction requiring Microsoft to add Java to its Windows OS within 120 days of the order.
U.S. military websites are subject to a new directive issued on January 3 by Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, to remove sensitive, unclassified information published on the huge DOD web databases (comprising 770 gigabytes of total data), that could potentially be of assistance to the intelligence gathering efforts of our enemies.
According to a January 7, 2003 press release from Privacy & American Business (P&AB), "A majority (56%-91%) of the U.S. public believes it is acceptable for the private sector to use biometric technologies." The study was funded by the Bureau of Justice Statistics.

We had a radical march here today, and it was pretty cool, and some folks then went out and broke windows at the Military recruiting station (i guess it might've been people from the march, but i don't really know), but we didn't do any of the GREAT shit y'all did down there.
The people who took personal risk to send a strong message to the federal government, that oppression of immigrants, the secret detentions, the deportations, etc. will be faught against, are heros in my eyes, and of all immigrants whose family members have been swept away from them.
Anyone who knows family therapy knows that it is often the kids and the teens that actually display the level of neurosis and dysfunction that the parents and other adults have succumbed to on a daily basis.

While we should view history as linear, in one sense, where we envision progressive things that have never been done before in the future (after all, during the revolutionary war, few groups had overthrown monarchy before), it also makes sense to look at the past for what tactics have been successful in the past.
Also, they say that the communist party was half FBI agents in the early 70s, and that a lot of the more insane destructive acts of that time were actually devised or committed by government workers.
Anyone who tries to disrupt a peaceful and legal antiwar protest is an enemy of the movement, and the "organizers" of this disruption need to be identified, prosecuted, and strung up by their nonexistent balls.

I went for an audition a few years back and was preparing for the scene when Cuba Gooding Jr walked in, he said hi to the 4 of us sitting there and sat between me and a friend of mine, instead of reading the script the 5 of us started talking about movies and stuff.
It just really ruined my confidence (I later found out that she did that to the kids she didn't like-- she also taught English and told all the of kids she didn't like that they were going to fail their finals).
One thing I did learn from the tons of job interviews/auditions I had when graduating from college a few years ago: The later your turn is in the interview process, the more impressive you seem to be and the more likely you will be selected, all other things being equal.

My only Snow Buntings of the year were in Van Buren on Connors Rd. on January 10, when a mixed flock of SnBu, Horned Larks and at least one Lapland Longspur flew out of a freshly laid row of manure/straw, circled around for a good view and flew off.
The bird was seen last Friday, = January 17, in a field across from the Believer's Chapel, which is = located between Quarry and Jennings Rd. The bird was searched for but = not found on Wednesday, but a male NORTHERN HARRIER was found hunting = over the fields.
The GYRFALCON has been seen from several places along = the lakeshore, ranging from near Farley's Point southward to near the = Aurora boat house and Long Point State Park, and it might take several = attempts at several different locations for someone to be lucky enough = to find it.

I think Mandrake has to take in account that in the Earth they are, at least, two worlds: the rich one and the poor one.
