Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Losyukov's visit is part of a round of diplomatic activity focused on defusing the potentially explosive North Korean situation, which began in October after North Korea admitted to continuing its nuclear weapons program, in violation of the 1994 Agreed Framework.
Lending was originally suspended in December 2000 because of the government's failure to stem corruption.
Scotland Yard said the raid was based on intelligence which suggested that the mosque had been involved in recruiting terrorists and in supporting terrorism in Britain and elsewhere.

Not surprisingly, on January 22, Microsoft filed an emergency motion for a stay pending appeal with the 4th Circuit, of the January 21 order by U.S. District Judge J. Frederick Motz(Maryland) granting Sun Microsystems Inc.'s motion for preliminary injunction requiring Microsoft to add Java to its Windows OS within 120 days of the order.
According to a January 7, 2003 press release from Privacy & American Business (P&AB), "A majority (56%-91%) of the U.S. public believes it is acceptable for the private sector to use biometric technologies." The study was funded by the Bureau of Justice Statistics.

Akukwe argues that African leaders, especially in light of the upcoming AU summit in Addis Ababa, must seize the global momentum toward addressing the spread of HIV in 2003.
The experts spoke in advance of a conference on governance and HIV/AIDS to be held in Addis Ababa later in January.

I decided to call all the television stations in my area to see if they were going to cover the protests on January 18th.
In the election of 2000, while the GOPhers where busy stealing the election from the winner Al Gore they were saying "...we win, thanks to the Subpreme Court, get over it".
While in this year 2003, I am still not going to "get over" that election theft, it is way past time for those states to get over that war and the flag celebrating slavery.
