Some Japlish terms are in widespread use in English, and have a different connotations and associations.
Some may even have a well-defined specific meaning, different to the meaning when used in Japanese (to discover these is, for now, left as an exercise for the deshi).
John F. As far as I know the term originated from the practice of Japanese people importing literally thousands of English terms and then mangling them to fit their syntax, or just out of ignorance.

It should include the instruction to indicate whether the term is being introduced as a Japanese term or a Japlish term.
If that were be the case, this would definitely not be a superfluous usage of a Japanese term, as that is far more precise in meaning than "descent tesuji".
I still see a point of continuing to use this term, of course it had to be marked clearly as "Japlish" then.

 PAC2 Presentation
The impact of Chinglish, Japlish, and Konglish on the vernaculars of North East Asia, and in turn the cultural mind-set of the populace, holds great socio-linguistic influence over these nations in the modem era.
Not only have the languages of North East Asia developed subsets consisting of the use of English, and other European loan- and pseudo- loan words, but students of EFL in these nations have, right or wrong, come to incorporate this vocabulary into their English conversation.
A constructive method for utilizing such 'learner difficulties', will then be presented with the aim of assisting and promoting solid sociocultural and linguistic competence in the English language.

Japan is one of the biggest investors of any country in the world in learning English as a foreign language.
Therfore, when approached by a foreigner (or "gaijin", as many ignorant japanese referee us as), many will NOT use their English as they fear they will "get it wrong" (a fear fostered by the school system who want the students to give the "right" answer).
Therefore, English in japan is called "Engrish" or "Japlish".

Engrish refers to the grammatically incorrect variation of English often found in East Asian countries; the term is often used synonymously with Japlish (see "English Pseudo-dialects" box at the bottom of this article for other variants of corrupted English).
Country-specific terms, such as Japlish or Janglish for Japan, Konglish for Korean, and Chinglish for China also exist, although they are can be considered more derogatory, with the possible exception of Chinglish, which enjoys widespread use in China (by English speaking Chinese people, as well as resident foreigners).
Although many Japanese people are educated in English, the lack of native English speakers means that the education in spoken English is deficient and that there is little incentive to practice speaking the language outside school.
