		Kurri was selected 69th overall by Edmonton in the third round of the 1980 Entry Draft.
		Jari, just 20 years of age, was leaving home for the first time, moving half a world away where the language, customs and hockey were different.
		Jari was traded to the New York Rangers with Marty McSorley and Shane Churla on March 14, 1996.
