		In one of the episodes, Jasmine marks each of the heroes with what she did to get them to this point, so that she could be there, and with Fred she makes the comment 'Opening the wrong book', or something like that.
		We then can assume Jasmine placed the events to get Fred to read that(which could go even further back if we question Seidel's part) from the line, which, in the time line shows Jasmine was at work at least 5 years before her "birth".
		That being the case, it wasn't as if Jasmine needed to outpower the others as long as they didn't realise what she was doing so she wouldn't have needed the First for strength, I don't believe.
