Jason Bargwanna: We have now found the speed and I believe the rest of the season will be back at the front were we should be, I believe the last of pace was due to being caught with our pants down and didn't work hard enough, but hopefully we have changed that now.

Jason Bargwanna is a race car driver born in Sydney, Australia on 26 April 1972.
His career further advanced in 1998 with a move full time to the Australian Touring Car Championship, where he stayed for a year until moving to Australian V8 Supercars from 1999 until the present day.
Jason is best known for winning the 2000 Bathurst 1000 with fellow Australian Garth Tander.

Larkham — Orrcon Racing’s pint sized pilot Jason Bargwanna was the hard charger during today’s opening race to finish ninth at Barbagallo Raceway near Perth.
Continuing his charge Bargwanna was in tenth position at half race distance courtesy of some consistent pace and some slick work by the crew during the compulsory pit stop to change a minimum of two tyres.
Bargwanna will start the first of tomorrow’s 58-lap race (10:00am) from ninth position with Winterbottom to start from the tenth row on the grid.

Holden driver Jason Bargwanna ended two barren years when he splashed around a rain-soaked street circuit yesterday to claim his first V8 supercar race and round win since Bathurst in 2000.
Bargwanna had started in 14th position for the first of the two 100-kilometre races on Saturday before working his way up to fifth, but he was fortunate to be allowed to start from the third row of the grid yesterday.
Bargwanna eventually got past Lowndes, and when Murphy made the wrong tyre choice - he thought the track was drying and the rain stopping - Bargwanna was always going to win if he could maintain station with Lowndes through the pit stops.

Bargwanna and Noske, who were only told of their pairing yesterday, have both raced at Mount Panorama before, Noske having run a V8 Supercar there last year.

Unfortunately due to prior commitments Jason Bargwanna, the former Bathurst 1000 winner (2000), will be unable to compete in the Christmas 500 event on the Sunday, although he will make an appearance in the 250 race on the Saturday driving alongside his father, Harry, in his # 97 EA Falcon Saloon car.
In recent weeks Jason has been on the phone to his father at his Sydney workshop making sure everything is going to plan in readiness for this history making occasion.
After Saturday’s race Jason Bargwanna will catch the next flight back to Melbourne for a prior commitment the following day, which is the only reason why he isn’t contesting the Christmas 500 race itself.

Orrcon Racing's Jason Bargwanna finished inside the top ten for the tenth time in the 2004 V8 Supercar Championship at today's opening race in the Bigpond Grand Finale at Sydney's Eastern Creek today.
Bargwanna's tenth position in the 26-lap race consolidated his position in eight position and also bridged the gap between himself and seventh placed Todd Kelly to 77 points.
Bargwanna remains in eighth position with the Championship with Winterbottom 16th.

On a wet track Bargwanna quickly moved up the order in the opening few laps to be in eighth as Winterbottom climbed up the order to be inside the top 20 at the end of lap two.
Bargwanna was collected by a spinning Brad Jones just prior to mid race and pitted just as the safety car was deployed to retrieve Warren Luff from the sand trap.
Following several laps under safety car Winterbottom restarted in 15th spot while Bargwanna was enduring a vibration in the rear end of his car that was caused by a bent differential housing and forced him out of the race shortly after.

Jason was an articulate speaker who easily established a repore the audience.
He spoke well and his presentation was an excellent mixture of humorous anecdotes and interesting details on his racing life.I found Jason was a very personable and approachable speaker.
I would personally recommend Jason for a speaking engagement without hesitation.
