Jason Matthew Thirsk (December 25, 1967 – July 29, 1996) was the; former bass player of the California punk band Pennywise.
One of Pennywise' most popular songs, Bro Hymn, was written by Thirsk as a tribute to some of his own friends who had died.
The band re-recorded the song after his death as a tribute to their fallen bandmate, including the line "Jason Matthew Thirsk this one's for you...", and it appears as the final track on the Full Circle album which was released in 1997.

This album, while being an amazing punk album at least, has shown the band's growth and also their anger and frustration with the world and Jason's death.
