Jason Queally has been in the news lately regarding his HPV speed record attempt.
Jason's attempt will take place at Battle Mountain in the USA where (despite the name) there is a suitable long flat course.
Jason was also due to be at the WHPVC at Brighton but may have pulled out.

Queally, the first Briton since Sebastian Coe to win gold and silver medals at the same Olympic Games, and the vehicle's designer, Chris Field, have decided that he should make the attempt lying in the recumbent position rather than sitting in a more conventional upright manner, as they had first envisaged.
It is hoped that Queally's vehicle will be given its official unveiling during the British Grand Prix meeting at Silverstone in mid-July and it may also compete in the World Human Powered Vehicle Championships in Brighton in August.
Queally, who suffered an unpleasant reminder of the Meadowbank crash that nearly claimed his life when he fell and concussed himself during a race in Florida last month, may also attempt the records for 500 metres and one kilometre at the same time.
