Sergeant Jason "Tye" Pratt was shot in the line of duty a year ago Saturday and died eight days later.
Pratt's memorial at the northeast precinct isn't as grand as some of the others that honor him but it was made by his fellow officers, on their own time and with their own money.
At the center of the garden is a heart-shaped rock with the hand prints of Tye's daughters Jordyn and Madison on the stone.
