Jay's mom ominously intones, "what's the worst that could happen?" Then we dissolve to present day, where we find the adult Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) in front of the store with Jay singing a rap consisting entirely of the f-word.
Jay and Silent Bob are duped into breaking in the lab while the girls go after the jewels.
For all of its vulgarity, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is really a rather kindhearted comedy in that Kevin Smith obviously has a real affection for these characters (he'd have to, given that he stars as one half of the team).

Jay and Silent Bob take to the highways and eventually hook up with a team of sexy bad girls who allegedly form an animal rights organization.
Silent Bob made about $30 million, which may not sound like much, but considering that the movie was essentially a cult film meant as a form of love letter to Smith’s biggest fans, even that modest total seems surprisingly high.
Silent Bob clearly won’t be for everyone, but it remains a pretty funny and entertaining piece that works well upon rescreenings; it didn’t do much for me the first time, but I liked it a lot the second.

Press made up only about 1/5 of the crowd there and the rest were what they refer to as "recruits." The audience was an equal division of male/female and most everybody was between the ages of 18-30 with the exception of this one frightening old woman wearing a fanny pack and an exercise outfit.
While Jay and Silent Bob are the focus of the film and the source of most of the humor, some of the funniest moments occur during the myriad of cameos Smith has managed to squeeze into this film.
JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK is funny from beginning to end in more ways than I could have imagined.
