Rather than design one from scratch, Jaycar Electronics have some excellent kits available which fit the bill very nicely.
The Jaycar Independent Electronic Boost Controller (IEBC) Kit has some unique advantages over its more expensive brethren.
One of the most important differences is its method of controlling the wastegate.

The Jaycar 95 litre box is slightly better than the 60 litre design, but not by enough to justify the increase in size.

Fact is Jaycar already produce a kit that will program the pic with the simple fitting of a card socket. The Pro16 will do this..I can also see how people got confused about this..

Expensive SCART Cables - Digital Broadcasting Australia - DBA Forums
I think the Jaycar one (assuming it is Jaycar's "high quality" one) is a beauty.
The best of the "expensive" SCART cables I have used (and I have bought all sorts of them over the last few years) are the QED brand ones from the UK - as far as their construction quality, shielding and _not_ taking anything away from the signal being passed through.
IXOS brand ones are very good too as high-end cables, but really I think the Jaycar ones are great value-for-money and give excellent results for 10-20% of the price of those two brands.

Basically the lower level probably wont be better than what you have.....the higher level of jaycar speakers are better but cost more, but you'll get much improved sound quality/power handling.
Im not sure how else to put it but check that website or depending on where you live call into a jaycar store and pickup their latest catalogue and you'll understand easier.

Speaking of Jaycar, I just picked up the cateloge yesterday and have been eyeing the 2nd last page where all the performance car kits are.
There is nothing 'wrong' with Jaycar, but if you ever try to sell them you can normally sell more well known brands for a higher price.
still, the point remains...the jaycar is better value for money...period...but it depends on what exactly someone needs in their system...if they want a single 4 channel amp then obviously the jaycar 2x150 isn't suitable...and the jaycar 4x100 i personally wouldn't touch (hissing noise as i mentioned)...
