  The intricacies of the Fender Jazzmaster
The Jazzmaster’s originally simple grounding to the strings was accomplished with piece of guitar string installed in with one of the bridge thimbles and bent to ground on the pickguard shield plate.
The knobs on the Jazzmaster were changed from the original Strat style to a white amp knob style with “Vol” and “tone” lettering on the metal cap in fall of 1964.
Jazzmaster and Jaguar guitars were top of the line instruments at the time, so this option was used frequently when the owner started to wear their guitar out, or wanted to change the color and upgrade to a Custom Color.

The fourth installment of Paul Hardcastle's Jazzmasters series takes more of the same elements featured in the previous three but takes things in a different direction than the last release.
There's more of an emphasis on instrumentation and arrangments here than in Jazzmasters III, and much to Hardcastle's credit there's the resistance to cash in on the "chillout" movement that broadswept acid jazz, smooth jazz, and various other factions of electronic music into one convienent marketing category.

 The Band
Known as one of the most important trombonists of all times, Slide worked frequently with Dizzy from 1963-1990, and was a founding member of Dizzy's United Nation Orchestra.
He is also the director of the "Jazzmasters Big Band".
Slide is equally renowned for his arranging skills, and is considered to be one of the finest arrangers in jazz today.

My wife told me that it was a waste of money and that I should get somebody in to play it as I wasn't really a guitarist.
In fact, my favourite band is still Pink Floyd, and one of my happiest moments was actually being recognised by David Gilmour in the south of France -- I was like a little schoolboy.
The remixing was fun, but I eventually wanted to get back to doing the music I wanted to do, so I set up a band called the Jazzmasters.
