The Right Honourable Jean Ann Corston, Baroness Corston, PC (born 5 May 1942) is a Labour politician in the United Kingdom.
Corston was Member of Parliament for Bristol East from 1992 to 2005.
On 13 May 2005 it was announced that she would be created a life peer, and on 29 June 2005 she was created Baroness Corston, of St George in the County and City of Bristol.

I also want to pay tribute to Jean Corston's work on the Warrington Project which is important if we want to get rid of bigotry and sectarianism which exist in other societies, also.

Mrs Corston, who was elected to parliament in 1992, told party members in the city at a meeting on Friday.

Jean Corston, as far as I know, doesn't have one.
Jean Corston is pretty good at responding to comments, although the (presumably procedural) need to reply on paper slows things down rather and doesn't encourage conversation.
It seems to me that a constituent might reasonably ask to be kept abreast of their MP's views on matters of current debate, in order that they can enter into some meaningful debate with that person.

Jean Corston, the chair of the human rights committee and a ruling Labour party MP, has told ministers: ``We have serious concerns that the order as drafted is incompatible with the UK's obligations under the Refugee Convention, and is therefore ultra vires.''
The Refugee Convention says that a country can only throw out somebody it has already given refugee status to if they commit a ``particularly serious crime''.
