Springfield is the fictional city where the TV series The Simpsons is set, founded by Jebediah Springfield, located near Shelbyville.
Springfield is near a junction of five states (in real life, no such junction exists), yet it borders the ocean; it has a canyon, a desert, and mountains.
The revelation that Springfield was once entirely in the telephone area code 636 and that chaos erupted when half the town was switched to the new area code 939 does not clarify the situation; area code 636 is in Missouri, while 939 is in Puerto Rico.

Jebediah Obadiah Zachariah Jedediah Springfield is the purported historical founder of the town of Springfield on television's The Simpsons.
Springfield said "A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man", and was well known for his silver tounge (literally; the silver tounge was a prosthesis, his original tongue having been bitten off in a barroom brawl).
Springfield led a band of wagons westward along with his partner Shelbyville Manhattan; but they parted ways when Manhattan wanted to found a town where people could marry their cousins, and Springfield wanted a town devoted to chastity, abstinence, and a flavourless mush he called root-marm.

In this episode, however, Lisa discovers that the supposed hero’s hero, Jebediah, was in fact born Hans Sprungfeld, a self-dubbed “murderous pirate,”¹ would-be presidential assassin, and all around bad man. His true character known to her, Lisa still chooses to conceal his evil past and maintain the myth of Jebediah Springfield.
When confronted with the chance that Jebediah Springfield might not have been as heroic as all claim him to be, everyone³ in the episode invariably retreats to the most primitive levels of cognition, displaying a marked lack of desire to even pause and wonder if their beliefs may be faulty.
Jebediah Springfield is credited with saying, “A noble spirit embiggens*; the smallest man.” Indeed, the idea of a noble, unifying spirit keeps Lisa from revealing the disheartening truth about Jebediah, and the episode ends on a happy note with Lisa joyously marching in the bicentennial parade.

For example, the colors of the bench and tree almost match, and the colors of the bushes and tree are awfully close.
The talking feature has always been fun, and while there isn't a lot of conflict in Springfield for a kid to act out, there are still enough play possibilities to warrent an average score.
