		The two Secretaries have met with the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques (King Abdullah) and we have had talks about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the peace process in the region, the situation in Iraq, the crisis in Lebanon, the issue of nuclear weapons in the area, and the general disturbances in the region in general.
		Director General Al-Sheikh and Manager AlGhamdi discussed with the Consul General how SWCC is working to provide Jeddah, and all of Saudi Arabia, with the most fundamental part of life- water.
		This was the second class to graduate from the newly established American International School of Jeddah.

		I had previously visited Jeddah in about 1977 when we were living in Riyadh and wasn't impressed - particularly with the climate.
