	Jedi Academy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The Jedi Academy, or Praxeum was first housed in the Great Massassi Temple and had 12 original students, including Kyle Katarn, Brakiss, Corran Horn, Dorsk 81, Gantoris, Kam Solusar, Kirana Ti, Streen, Tionne, and eventually Cilghal, Mara Jade and Kyp Durron.
		One of the trials the Academy came up with, was when Desann planned to use an army of Reborn Jedi, and Shadowtroopers to invade the Academy and restore the Galactic Empire.
		The Jedi Academy, wherever it is, tends to be a base of operations for the Jedi, and sometimes a home when they are not performing other jobs for Luke or going about their personal lives.

		Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is the latest Star Wars game to come down the pipeline and like its Jedi Knight predecessors it manages to up the watermark substantially.
		Jedi Academy features plenty of interesting ranged weapons, but the focus here is on mastering the light saber.
		Jedi Academy uses the aging Quake III engine to render its non-stop action, which means that the control is spot-on but also that the graphics are somewhat lacking when compared to newer technology.

		Academy has several major advantages over Outcast, and this meant that playing Outcast second was kind of a bust.
		The actual mission objectives are varied and usually involve some kind of humanitarian mission-- prevent the Remnant from blowing up a power station, stop the speeding train from crashing into the city, destroy a cache of dangerous weapons, etc.-- but predictably, you generally have to wade through hordes of enemies to reach your objective.

		Having built a lightsaber on his own, thought to be impossible, he is brought to study at the academy and to fully develop his powers so that he may become a true Jedi Knight.
		Going back to the academy advances the story, and since you also get more training through the missions, going through all of them is advised.
		The game does tend to become a little monotonous towards the end, when there are so many dark Jedi running around that the lightsaber combat begins to feel redundant and it isn't so cool anymore to pull of a nice combo in tandem with force powers.
