 | | Sul Ross State University’s Museum of the Big Bend will receive one of the most significant private Texas map collections during the Texas Map Society’s spring meeting, Friday and Saturday, March 31-April 1. |
| | The Friday, March 31 meeting will be held in the Jeff Davis County Courthouse and include presentations by Mary Williams, Historian at Fort Davis National Historic Site, on Army patrol maps; historic surveying and map making techniques by Chuck Dixon, who will describe his collection of historic surveying instruments. |
