Jeff "CJayC" Veasey is the creator of the popular video and computer game website GameFAQs.
After seven and a half years of independently operating GameFAQs, CJayC sold GameFAQs and its assets to CNET on June 3, 2003.
However, Veasey still operates the GameFAQs site today as it is his full time job.

His site would solve that problem and, shortly after its launch, was playing host to a few hundred guides and getting 10,000 hits a week, according to Veasey.
IGN and GameFAQs offer gift certificates or free games to those who contribute guides for select new games, but otherwise contributions tend to be for free.
