The 15th Olympic hopeful to be profiled is figure skater Jeffrey Buttle.
Early in the 2005-06 international season, Buttle already appears to be rounding into podium form after capturing the silver medal at the 2005 Grand Prix Final to go along with a runner-up finish at the 2005 Skate Canada International event and a gold medal at the 2005 Trophée Eric Bompard Cachemire.
In 2004-05, Buttle enjoyed his finest season to date, winning gold at both the Canadian Championship and Cup of China to go along with a silver medal performance at the prestigious ISU Grand Prix Final in Beijing.

There's been some debate on the figure skating websites about whether Buttle should attempt the quad at all this season given his lack of success with it and his ability to compete well without it last year when he was also second at the Grand Prix Final.
