 History of Palmyra by the Woman's Society of the Western Presbyterian Church
Trouble between the Indians and Jenkins and his associates made an end to this Pennsylvania movement.
In this same document it is stated that the trustees were Jacob Gannett, David Warner, Jedediah Foster, Jonah Howell, Thomas Goldsmith and Stephen Reeves.
From the formation of the church until 1817 the pastors preached alternate Sabbaths in the east and in the west ends of the township.

The IDT History appears to indicate that a George DeBolt arrived in Pennsylvania from Alsace-Loraine in the early 1750's.
Following are listed two documents that support the presence of a George DeBolt in Pennsylvania in the approximate time frame presented in the IDT History.
This George DeBolt was not included in the first Pennsylvania Census in 1790 thus indicating his death prior to that time.
