		The territory of Ulassai borders on Jerzu, Gairo, Tertenia, Osini, Perdasdefogu, Ussassai and Esterzili; it is 90 kilometres from Nuoro, capital of the province, 124 km away from Cagliari and 291 km from Olbia.

	150 vie nuove sulle pareti di Jerzu
		Ma se per noi questa era una vera peculiarità per altri ciò si traduceva in eccessiva "tecnicità" dell'arrampicata, difficile lettura e scarsa probabilità di salire a vista, il che contribuì a creare attorno alle pareti di Jerzu un alone di mito ma soprattutto di paura.
		Presi dalla frenesia, abbiamo attrezzato in poco meno di 3 anni, quasi 60 vie, il minimo che garantisse a Jerzu una certa frequentazione.
		Nel 1996 viene finanziato un progetto regionale che prevede il recupero ambientale proprio della zona dove si trovano le pareti.

		Grazie all'interessamento di Giuseppe Garippa che lavora proprio a Jerzu, anche l'arrampicata viene inserita nel progetto.
		Ho aggiunto moltissime vie di grado 6, e alcune anche di 4 e 5 grado, per rimediare all'eccessiva selettività di Jerzu, lamentata da molti frequentatori.
