		Powell comes strong on club bangers like "Talkin' In Your Sleep" and "I Want You" he delivers with his powerful voice on "Come Back Home" and the Michael Jackson remake of "Can't Help It" and on "Keep On Loving" and "Ebony" which is my favorite song.

		Jesse Powell is a gifted singer who has shown flashes of brilliance, but has generally not had the consistent material or production to match his obvious vocal talent.
		Powell released his eponymous debut in 1996, which featured a minor RandB hit with “All I Need.” While the material was rather generic and his vocal style not yet distinctive, Powell boasted a crystal clear, strong tenor voice, and it appeared he could develop into a solid, classy soul singer.
		While I had hoped that the developing Urban Adult Contemporary style Powell showed on JP was a stepping stone toward a truly definitive disc for him, it instead turned out to be a career high point, and the poor critical and commercial performance of subsequent release Jesse brings into question whether he’ll have another chance.
