Jesus H. Christ - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Similarly in England, a common joke is that the H is for Henry - the letters INRI, seen on crosses and some graves, are a rough approximation of the Cockney "Henry".
Perhaps the simplest explanation is that the H stands for absolutely nothing, and originated with speakers of English with accents which tend to strongly emphasise the first word of a phrase when cursing.
The character Jesus H. Christ, embodied by a plastic figure of Jesus Christ dressed in white, is a reccurent character in animutations, the most famous being of course the "Colin Mochrie VS. Jesus H. Christ" trilogy by Andrew Kepple.

Jesus H. Christ - The Passion, Mel Gibson's bloody mess. By David Edelstein
For Gibson, Jesus is defined not by his teachings in life—by his message of mercy, social justice, and self-abnegation, some of it rooted in the Jewish Torah, much of it defiantly personal—but by the manner of his execution.
That doesn't exactly put him outside the mainstream: The idea that Jesus died for the sins of mankind is one of the central tenets of Christian faith.
When Jesus is resurrected, his expression is hard, and, as he moves toward the entrance to his tomb, the camera lingers on a round hole in his hand that goes all the way through.

CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Resurrection of Jesus Christ
The Resurrection of Christ has much in common with the general resurrection; even the transformation of His body and of His bodily life is of the same kind as that which awaits the blessed in their resurrection.
Christ's Resurrection is necessarily a glorious one; it implies not merely the reunion of body and soul, but also the glorification of the body.
Christ's body was to know no corruption, but rose again soon after death, when sufficient time had elapsed to leave no doubt as to the reality of His death.

 Re: Jesus H Christ
"Jesus H. Christ" is at least as old as the 1940s, and I would be surprised to see it used much earlier.
The H, I'm virtually sure, stands for nothing, but is a way of adding an extra syllable for phonetic effect.
The two were often combined as JE-sus H KEE-RISt, in which all the syllables are long, but the "-sus" is at a lower pitch, and the "-RIST" either had a lower pitch or had a rather sudden descent in pitch.

The first is that it stands for "Holy," as in Jesus Holy Christ, a common enough blasphemy in the South, abridged to H by fast-talking Northerners.
The Greek pronunciation is "Iesous," with the E sound being represented by the character eta, which looks like an H. When the symbol passed to Christian Romans, for whom an H was an H, the unaccountable character eventually became accepted as Jesus's middle initial.
