  Jesusland - Uncyclopedia
Jesusland is a theocratic dictatorship, situated primarily in North America.
Jesusland is often described as, both critically and affectionarely (by locals), as being run like a plantation in the extremely advanced Southern United States.
Although unknown to many inhabitants of Jesusland due to their common trait of illiteracy, the United States of Canada (EH!), a confederation of freedom loving states, came into existence in the early 21st century when, for the second (and final) time, George W. Bush and his administration successfully rigged and won the presidential election.

washingtonpost.com: Election Map Makers, Exercising Some Latitude
The infamous Jesusland map, which pits the blue states and Canada against a new southern theocracy, is only the tip of the cartographical iceberg.
So the CBS maps, which were updated every five minutes on election night, are a reflection not just of "us" in all our demographic detail but also a reflection of the mind-set of political technocrats, journalists among them, who manage that detail down to the county level.
The reconfigured maps are a balm to the wounded dignity of blue-state America; the old-fashioned ones, with their vast swaths of red, an affirmation of red-state ascendancy.

The meme is in the form of a map of North America which depicts a new hypothetical national border between the United States and Canada.
Some view the map as a humorous, cynical, or even bigoted commentary on the cultural and political divide within the United States; others have labeled themselves proud to be from one "nation" or the other.
The red states in these variant maps are called "Jesusistan", "Redstateistan", "Redneckistan"[2], the "United States of Evangelicals,"[3] "the United State of Texas", or in the most extreme case, "Dumbfuckistan," and some maps purport to show a capital of Crawford, Texas, the home of U.S. President George W. Bush.
