Jetsgo (IATA: SG, ICAO: JGO, and Callsign: Jetsgo) was a Canadian low-cost carrier based in Montreal, which served 19 destinations across Canada, 10 destinations in the United States, and 12 scheduled weekend-charter destinations in the Caribbean.
Jetsgo was launched on June 12, 2002 and abruptly ceased operations on March 11, 2005.

Discount airline Jetsgo obtained court protection from creditors on Friday and grounded its jet fleet, stranding 17,000 passengers during the March break school holidays, one of the busiest travel periods of the year in Canada.
Jetsgo, which began flying in mid 2002 and immediately launched a fare war with Canada's other airlines, said it decided to stop operating its fleet of 29 jets because it could not ensure reliable operations, even to repatriate stranded passengers.
At Jetsgo's key hubs in Toronto and Montreal, its kiosks and counters were abandoned on Friday morning, leaving passengers bewildered.

Canada said on Wednesday that investigators had identified shortcomings in the operating methods of discount airline Jetsgo and said it was working with the carrier to address the findings.
The deficiencies were discovered during "a special inspection" into a forced landing of a Jetsgo aircraft in January, said a spokeswoman for Transport Canada.
Jetsgo, which started flying in 2002, operates 14 Boeing MD-83 airliners and is in the process of adding 18 Fokker 100 commuter jets.

I will never fly Jetsgo again because their service is horrible, flight attendants don't know the meaning of customer service and the seats are cramped.
Jetsgo had promised me that I would be compensated after filling out the required forms that they would send me. After I hadn't received said forms, I again contacted them.
Not only should the public be made aware of Jetsgo's poor customer service, but their obvious lack of security in these days after 9/11.

Considering the line of business Jetsgo is in, you would think they would hire capable people who have a litte customer service training under their belts.
JetsGo's limit of liability for delayed or lost luggage per ticketed passenger is $250.00.
Apparently the problem is that JetsGo is a smaller airline and doesn't hold an inventory of replacement parts for their aircraft unlike the big players.

We were told that we would get complimentary non-alcoholic beverages but found out on the plane that this was limited to one plastic cup (if you wanted the whole can you had to pay and snacks had to be purchased as well).
I flew JetsGo on a segment from YVR to YUL, I thought it was great, the flight was on time (even landed early) in YYZ, FA where friendly and the aircraft was clean.
Jetsgo does not phone me to keep me up to date with what is happening, I have to call them and 9 times out of 10 I get an answering machine.

It is unacceptable that Jetsgo does not have adequate employees on site to deal with baggage security or the safe and secure distribution of their passenger’s belongings when there were many options available to deal with this incident in a satisfactory manner.
