Jewel and Esk Valley College is a further education college in the Lothians in Scotland.
Jewel and Esk Valley Halls of Residence also provides accommodation for those studying at Edinburgh's Telford College and Stevenson College, located in the Sighthill district of Edinburgh.
Jewel and Esk Valley College was created in 1984 from the merger of Leith Nautical College and the Eskbank College.

Jewel and Esk Valley College is the first institution to lay off large numbers of staff but further redundancies and course cuts are expected to follow at other colleges.
It is understood Jewel and Esk Valley is in discussion with Edinburgh’s other further education establishments, Stevenson College and Telford College, about a number of subjects with small rolls to see if they could be delivered by just one or two of the providers.
The cash constraints come when Jewel and Esk, which serves East Lothian, is seeing a rise in demand, as large numbers of new homes are built on its doorstep and at a time when education is a government priority.

Jewel and Esk Valley College is set to boost its facilities for students and staff with the announcement that it is to be awarded over £750,000 from the Scottish Further Education Funding Council (SFEFC).
The college will benefit as a result of today's (Monday, 20 January) major announcement that Scottish further education colleges are to receive £26 million funding by the SFEFC and Iain Gray, Scottish Executive Minister for Enterprise, Transport and Lifelong Learning.
