Speaking of bad defense, there are currently four players with five errors this season: Alfonso Soriano, Jose Valentin, Julio Lugo and Jhonny Peralta.
While the three veterans have taken over 130 innings each to compile five, Peralta has played in less than 115.
Peralta is combining to make a pretty awful left side, as Aaron Boone has the worst average of qualifying Major League hitters at.129.
