		Jilin borders North Korea and Russia to the east, Heilongjiang to the north, Liaoning to the south, and Inner Mongolia to the west.
		Jilin is drained by the Yalu and Tumen Rivers in the extreme southwest (which together form the border between China and North Korea), by tributaries of the Liao River along the southern border, and by the Songhua and Nen rivers, both eventually flowing into the Amur.

	UGA Institute of Higher Education partners with Jilin University
		Athens, Ga. — The Institute of Higher Education at the University of Georgia has entered into a historic partnership with Jilin University, the largest institution in China, to provide management training for its senior administrators.
		Officials at Jilin, which ranks among the top ten universities in China, believe this to be the first such effort in China.
		Thirty administrators from Jilin University will arrive in Athens on June 23, spending three weeks at the University of Georgia before traveling to Washington, Philadelphia and New York.
