Jim Barnes (April 8, 1886 - May 26, 1966) was a leading figure in the early years of professional golf in the United States.
He was born in Cornwall, England, but moved to the United States in 1906 and became a U.S. citizen soon afterwards.
Barnes was one of the most prolific tournament winners of the first few seasons of the PGA Tour, which was also founded in 1916.

Jim played rugby for his local duchy and even the southern part of his country for a long tome, right up until his entrance into Starfleet in fact, and as such loves sports and leading teams of people in a variety of tasks.
Jim has recently been suffering from mood swings and light depression as the death of his brother Ryan has returned to haunt him and due to this Jim has made a vow to find his killers and put them to rights.
Jim was a fan of many "old-school" hard print comics and came to believe that some of their ideals such as honor and justice should be upheld at all times, this shaped Jim as a person.

"Jim Barnes will be a great fit as the head coach of Baylor women's volleyball," said former Nebraska coach Terry Pettit, a three-time national volleyball coach of the year who served as a consultant to McCaw in the coaching search for the program's eighth head coach in its 25-year history.
Barnes guided LU to 24 victories in 2000, the program's most since 1993, and picked up his 100th career coaching win along the way.
Barnes earned his bachelor's degree in health and human performance from McNeese State in 1994 and completed his master's degree from the school in 1996.

Barnes died Saturday, Sept. 14, at a hospital in Silver Springs, Md. He was 61.
Barnes starred at Texas Western, averaging 18.9 points and 16.5 rebounds his junior year and 29.2 points and 19.2 rebounds his senior season.

In eight seasons as a Division I head coach, including stops at both Wyoming and Lamar, Barnes has posted a 163-98 (.625) record, winning 20 or more matches five times, while leading his teams to seven winning campaigns and twice earning conference Coach of the Year honors.
