		On March 21, 2001, Kent Hovind was invited by Representative Jim Holt (R) to testify before a committee of the Arkansas Legislature debating the obscure legislation HB2548.

		I also have fond memories of Jim Holt - several times I stood, with hand outstretched, in the cloakroom near his office.
		I have total recall, almost 50 years on, of the tip of the cane quivering high in the air for a few seconds as Mr Holt took the measure of his stroke.
		This was certainly one of the more useful skills I learned as a Cub and to this day, every single time I cut my toenails, I think of her.
