James Davies "Jim" Lightbody (March 15, 1882 – March 2, 1953) was an American middle distance runner, winner of six Olympic medals in the early 20th century.
Lightbody lost a close race to fellow American James P. Sullivan in the first round of the 1,500 metres, eliminating him from further competition.
Lightbody died in 1953, two weeks short of his 71st birthday in Charleston, South Carolina.

Lightbody said in the more than 20 years the corporation has been running the lottery, it has never had to pay money into a court.

The B.C. Lottery Corp. said Wednesday that the two sides have been given until the end of the week to work it out, or it could be sent to a judge to settle.
There's apparently no question that the first group bought into the ticket, but Jim Lightbody, vice president of gaming for the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, said the question is whether two other women who also work at the restaurant should get a cut.
Lightbody said: "One option we have is to pay it into a court and have the court decide, after hearing everyone's testimony, who are the rightful owners."

He was treated at the scene of his collapse by fellow Rescue Members, Paramus Police, members of the Paramus Fire Department, Paramedics from Valley Hospital, and the Paramus Ambulance Corp. He was taken by ambulance to Valley Hospital where he passed away a short time later.
Daniel was 21 years old and was a 4 year veteran of the Cliffside Park Fire Department.
