Jim Reid brings more than 30 years of collegiate coaching experience to Bucknell, including 15 as a head coach at Massachusetts and Richmond.
Reid was promoted to defensive coordinator in 1978, a position he held until being named head coach in 1986.
Reid moved on to Richmond as defensive coordinator in 1992, then served in the same role at Boston College in 1994 before moving back to Richmond as head coach.

Perched on a chair, peering through his specs at a sheaf of lyrics propped on a music stand, Mr Reid is a long way from the tantrumming hair-tugging dervish of yesteryear, although he still manages to get some swearing in, scrabbling on the floor for stray lyric sheets.
The Reid brothers always had a gift for knocking out these deceptively simple, bittersweet tunes, whether they were smothered in layers of spitting sound or wearily sighing from abused acoustics.
In a touching scene of brotherly/sisterlyness, Linda now joins Jim onstage to chirp out the song, giggling as they both try to crane their necks to share the mic.

As the title implies, Jim Reid is dyed-in-the-wool Scot, and some of the lyrics may need subtitles.
A favourite of mine has to be "The Sodgers' Cairn/Battle of the Somme." Reid has a warm voice that is designed to sing songs of loss and there is not an event more suited to such sentiment than this look at that terrible battle.
The song was written by Mary Symon with Reid in mind, and it works.
