The Extra movie review, In Film Australia
His popular appreciation as a cheeky buoyant foreigner has allowed Jimeoin to dabble in multiple mediums and techniques -- film, television, stand-up; slapstick, sight, observational -- the crux being that his humour is universal while his grip on Australian culture is geared from the outside in.
Jimeoin's next film The Extra, about an aspiring actor continually downcast into scenery filling roles as a movie extra, is an enjoyable Australian comedy that's fun and funny.
Consequently, and also as a result of his sunny and smiling demeanour, Jimeoin is a show biz performer without a trace of pretension or vanity.
