In the course of these investigations, Jimmy Gieu indicated, and made a report to the police (Gendarmes), that the vibrated road-sign panels had been magnetized in an abnormal manner: Placed 5 cm away from the signs, a compass needle deviated some 15 degrees, while the third sign caused no noticeable deviation.
The Ouranos #21 article by Jimmy Guieu, which I do not have, appears to be the most detailed account of the incident.
Jimmy Guieu is the name of an author who also wrote under the pen names of Claude Vauziere, Jimmy G. Quint, and Dominique Verseau.

Science fiction writer and pioneer of ufology in France Jimmy Guieu reports that on September 22, 1954, during the night, an assistant of the P.T.T., the french postal services, named Robert P., went to Vasselay by car in the company of his wife and his children.
At the hamlet of Jou, which is in the north of the town of Bourges, he saw "a strange craft, extremely shiny" which seemed to go down towards a field.
The craft, that Jimmy Guieu designates as a spacecraft, abruptly ceased irradiating the red gleam, and the darkness reigned during 20 to 30 seconds.

Guieu offered them a secret refuge in the south of France where they could work on a book together, Guieu writing it and all sharing the proceeds.
Guieu had hoped that Fontaine would be able to recall more of his adventure if he were hypnotised, but the young man obstinately refused to submit to hypnosis.
In Guieu's book, Prevost becomes the hero of the story and the only evidence we have for the events is his word.

Science-fiction writer and pioneer ufologist in France Jimmy Guieu indicates that on January 26, 1954 in the sky around Dijon, at approximately 04:50 of the morning, a luminous, orange, elongated object, followed by a luminous trail, appeared.
It evolved in the direction of the North-West by projecting a dazzling light on all the countryside.
Guieu indicates that it moved very low, at less than 1400 meters, which was the altitude of the cloudy ceiling there at this day at 04:45 of the morning.

Though her research subjects are interpretation of scripture, theology, eastern philosophies and history, C. Sandie has had the same long-standing interest in alternative science, ancient civilizations and cosmic (and esoteric) questions as Jimmy Guieu.

page06 - Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind
The book was padded out by Guieu's journalistic style and digressive accounts of other cases and there was an almost total absence of first-hand testimony from the principal witness the abducted Fontaine whose story the world wanted to hear.
But the two books on the case one by the well-known science fiction writer Jimmy Guieu and one by Prevost himself raised questions that cast suspicion on the entire affair.
While neither of these explanations can be ruled out entirely, we may consider it most plausible that the whole affair was a fabrication from the start that there never was any abduction and that the three young men put the story together for fun, for gain or for some undiscovered ideological motive.

This story was told to French ufologist Jimmy Guieu and a producer on Radio Monte Carlo, Fernand Carlo some time in the early 1950s.
Guieu emphasises that the interview took place before George Adamski's book Flying Saucers Have Landed had gone to press.
Guieu's book had been written and revised by January 1954 and this places an upper limit for the appearance of this saucer repair case.

Kurt Steiner and Jimmy Guieu, meanwhile, emphasize the biological side of an evolution towards technocracy.
Their visions somewhat resemble certain of Olaf Stapledon's or J.D. Bernal's (though in Guieu's case, an ambivalence attaches to the futuristic picture of scientists disincorporating the brains of other human beings to preserve the species).
