James Patrick Maher (born February 27 1974 in Innisfail, Queensland) is an Australian cricketer.
He was included in the Australian squad as a spare batsman and wicketkeeper for the next few seasons, including the 2003 Cricket World Cup, but has never managed to obtain a regular place in the side.
For 2006 Maher has signed for a second spell in English county cricket with Durham.
