James (Jimmy) Allen Pattison (born October 1, 1928 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) is a Vancouver-based entrepreneur who is the chairman, president, CEO, and sole owner of the Jim Pattison Group.
Pattison helped organize Expo 86 in Vancouver, acting as the CEO and president of the Expo 86 Corporation.
Among other honours, Pattison is a recipient of both the Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia.

Pattison owned most of Vancouver's bus shelters in an arrangement going back 26 years, wherein his company put in the shelters in exchange for the right to post advertising on them.
The Pattison Outdoor shelters were originally to have been removed in January after Pattison lost the contract with the city, but the new shelters weren't ready yet, and so Pattison and the city agreed to leave the old ones in place until the end of May.
According to Pattison Outdoor, the company was willing to remove its old shelters as the new ones came in, but was instead asked to take them all away at once, by the end of May, regardless of the fact the new Viacom/Decaux shelters were far from ready.
