Wimbledon commentator Jo is a former British number one who reached a world ranking of 5 in 1983.
During that time Jo won two tour titles in 1983 at Mahwah New Jersey and Sydney and in the same year also reached the semi-finals of the US Open and Roland Garros.
Jo won seven national titles, reached the ladies' singles quarter-finals of Wimbledon and, with Jeremy Bates, took the mixed doubles title at Wimbledon in 1987 and at the Australian Open in 1991.

Jo Durie (born July 27, 1960, in Bristol, England) is a former professional tennis player from the United Kingdom.
Partnering her fellow British player Jeremy Bates, Durie won the mixed doubles titles at Wimbledon in 1987 and the Australian Open in 1991.
Durie was ranked the No. 1 British player for most of her career.
