JoeAhearne is a British television director, best known for his work on several fantasy-based 'cult' programmes.
Ahearne was the only person to both write and direct episodes for the multiple-award-winning series, which followed the lives of a group of law students in London.
The series also ran on the Sci-Fi Channel in the United States, and the Fox Network in that country produced a pilot for their own version in 2001, although this was not a success and did not lead to a series.
In 2004/5 Joe directed 5 episodes of BBC1's acclaimed revival of sci-fi classic DOCTOR WHO including the return of the Daleks.
Joe wrote and directed the sci-fi/horror mini-series ULTRAVIOLET for Channel 4 in 1998 which aired on Sci-Fi channel in the US and was picked up by the X-FILES producers for a pilot at Fox.
Joe was the only contributor to both wirte and direct for the hit 1997BBC series THIS LIFE.
