They’re human beings with hopes, fears, and dreams like everyone else and the ways in which they successfully overcome their deformity are inspirational (if not entirely practical or, even, believable).
Damon & Kinnear are the stars of the show, but the film also features nice supporting performances from Eva Mendes (who begs the question “J-Lo who?!”) as a dim-bulb actress who befriends the pair, Wen Yann Shih as Bob’s long-distance love, and Cher in a self-deprecating role as a much…ahem….meaner version of herself.
Stuck On You is a sweetly irreverent film that connects the heart to the funny bone in celebration of those the rest of the world deems handicapped.
