Joseph "Joe" Nieuwendyk (born September 10, 1966 in Oshawa, Ontario) is a Canadian ice hockey player in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Florida Panthers.
Joe Nieuwendyk's first season in the NHL was a short one.
After Calgary, Joe left for the Dallas Stars where he won another Stanley Cup and was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player in the playoffs.
