		Joseph Mark Trohman (born on September 1, 1984 in Hollywood, Florida) is most notably the lead guitarist for the Chicago-based alternative rock band Fall Out Boy.
		Trohman approached fellow Chicago musician and friend Pete Wentz about starting a pop punk band, with more emphasis on positivity, and less emphasis on the negatives that the hardcore scene seemed to draw.
		Trohman, with the rest of his band, is currently in the process of recording a new record, slated for release in early 2007.

		Formulated by Joseph Trohman and Peter Wentz, both former members of the now-defunct hardcore band Arma Angelus, the two realized together that they were bored of playing the same old hardcore music.
		Wentz and Trohman started writing pop songs for fun, and when Trohman stumbled upon Patrick Stump (the two met while discussing another band, Neurosis, at a Chicago bookstore), Trohman and Wentz realized they'd found the vocalist to their ensemble.
		Trohman and Hurley were also more heavily involved in the writing process this time around, and the results were 25 strong songs which ended up being narrowed down to 13 for "From Under The Cork Tree" (which happens to be named from "The Story Of Ferdinand", one of Wentz's favorite childhood books).
