BUG backpackers hostel reviews Finnhostel Joensuu   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-20)
Travelling around Finland i realized that hostels are often more like RESIDENCES than real hostels and if you happen to be on your own this can be a bit disappointing.
So if you are a couple or friends travelling together i truly recommend Joensuu (a very quiet but magic little provincial town, with a lovely river and birch trees in every street) and this hotel-spotless-clean "hostel"; you will enjoy not just a room but a big kitchen and a big bathroom all to yourself.
But - if you are planning a solo trip to Finland - i'm tempted to say stick to Helsinki or you're likely to be on your own most of the times, in hostels at least.
