I would have titled Joey Ayala’s music album collection of past works, “LamiGinaw,” because while it is merely one cut in the album “Basta May Saging,” most of the music are enveloped in cool, fresh, sweet embrace.

 Sun.Star Baguio - Joey Ayala, kids and country musicians set Earth Day show
ALTERNATIVE music artist Joey Ayala will team up with kids, poets and Baguio's country musicians on Wednesday in a free concert and theater presentation for cleaner air at the Baguio SM Entertainment Plaza in observance of Earth Day.
Sponsored by the Baguio Regreening Movement, the city's multi-sectoral umbrella group of volunteers at the forefront of the city's environmental thrusts, the April 21 show will be opened at 5 p.m.
Ayala is scheduled for jamming with the local artists at 8 p.m.

“Mga Awit ng Mandaragat” is a compilation of 12 songs with lyrics by Ayala and music by Ayala and other musicians who share his advocacy for the preservation of nature.

Filipino songwriter Joey Ayala starts research project with RC Popular Filipino composer and performer Joey Ayala has teamed up with the CBCRM Resource Center in an action research project that aims to document and record local songs and other artistic creations by fishers and coastal communities.
The research, entitled "Songs from the Seas", will cover five (5) provinces in the Philippines and is envisioned to heighten people's awareness of local knowledge and CBCRM.
